    • A very nice daily driver

I’ve had my L model for about three months. Here’s what I like about it, I’m getting 39.2 to 39.7MPG with approximately 75% highway and 25% city. The seats are very comfortable, more so than the Kia Sorrento’s I previously had the vehicle handles very well. Has a very smooth ride and excellent cargo space. The CVT transmission is adequate and time will tellbut personally, I’d rather have a standard transmission. Acceleration is acceptable for daily driving, but I don’t put my foot into it very often. Here’s what I don’t like. The L model does not even have the following: automatic headlights (you have to turn the lights on off), no rear window wiper, no auto-adjusting rearview mirror, no adjustable intermittent wipers (only one speed). What I don’t like is the auto stop start function. I hate it. Although there is a button on the console to turn it off, but I often forget to do that. I believe the default on that feature should be off and if I want to use it, then I turn it on. I also detest the forward collision feature as it won’t let me gently coast up to the vehicles in front of me. As soon as I let off the gas, it starts applying the brakes and believe me I’m not going fast and I have plenty of distance in front of me, I have it adjusted to the closest and it still applies the brakes way before needed. this will cost me to get a brake job way too soon. It uses 0W8 motor oil and Toyota says you can go 10,000 miles between oil changes but I won’t be doing that. I’ll change it myself at 5000 and take advantage of the dealers free oil changes up to 25,000 miles. The transmission gets its first service at 60,000 miles. Hope this is informative for you.

It rides looks and handles great. The 42 MPG ain't bad either. Wife loves the pearl white paint. Plenty of room for the puppy dog too. No buyers remorse here." OH what a feeling" Toyota Cross Hybrid.
